the dream: i’m helping my friend ‘m’ with a charity drive. we’re gathering toys and games. not sure what the charity is but i can tell it’s important to her. we’re on some sort of floating platform in the ocean. something like an oil-drilling rig. i’m doing something like stunts on a chin-up bar. i look down into the ocean and think ‘i should try a backflip dive’ even though i know i’m not a diver. so i give it a try.
my thoughts: i think the charity aspect might come from the fact that i know i need to start doing service. whether it’s charity work or making coffee, it’s something that needs to happen. ‘m’ was probably in there because i had been thinking of her the day before. we haven’t chatted in a while and we always say we’re going to get together. i sometimes wonder what might have been had we acted upon our mutual attraction. not sure where the water/diving aspect comes from. i’m a strong swimmer but i prefer to be on land or in the air. maybe it was me doing something different for a change.
